…” As the cool winds of autumn gently blow away the last bits of summer, nature’s colours slowly begin to change. The sun is often covered by a soft layer of clouds that make the colours more soft. From the sky unfolds a palette of grey shades, as the clouds drift across the sky with the autumn wind. With autumn comes a crisp and cool air, which slowly prepares us for the colder season ahead. My new collection Soft Sky was created with inspiration from that gentle light of the changing seasons and the strong winds and drifting clouds of autumn”…
THE RAIN JEWELLERY
I have always been fascinated by the many beautiful shapes you can find in nature. The new Rain jewellery is created in the image of the heavy raindrops that slowly fall and prepare the earth for new life.
SOFT SKY
The play of grey colours in the sky has inspired me to design the Soft Sky Earchains. The lovely grey Labradorite changes beautifully with the light and reminds me of how the light by the sea is constantly changing.
The small silver piece in the earchain is a reflection of how the wave breaks, while the pearl is sending a thought to the bottom of the sea.
